The professional and scientific content is based on the socially-scientific disciplines represented at the institution, i.e. archaeology, history, history of arts, numismatics, ethnography, musicology, theatre history, history of literature and museology. There is no special archive journal published within the Czech Silesia region, thus also archive themes are presented in the Journal. Studies of interdisciplinary character presenting a wide spectrum of research interests of local as well as foreign researchers and scientific workers of the Silesian Museum in Opava have also been published in the course of the Journal's history. The Journal publishes primarily original scientific studies and material works based on regional sources. The review column designated for topical news related to the Journal's concept has become an integral part of the Journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
